David Gryfe
After completing a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario Dr. David Gryfe graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1992. He proceeded to earn Doctor of Acupuncture certification from the Open International University in Sri Lanka, the Registered Trigenics Practitioner certification and in 1999 achieved Fellowship in the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada).
Dr. Gryfe is in full time practice. In addition he is the consulting chiropractor to the Woodbine Race Track where he provides sports injury specialist services.
David has been part of a team of health professionals offering services to international sporting events such as The Breeder’s Cup and The Queen’s Plate as well as providing treatment and training to hockey teams at Manhattanville College in White Plains, New York, Clarkson College in Potsdam, New York and Quinnipiac University in Hamden Connecticut.
Dr. Gryfe is a Past Chair of the Board of Governors of CMCC. He serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association.
He has been studying T’ai Chi Ch’uan since 1991 and has offered classes through the Etobicoke General Hospital, Manhattanville College in White Plains New York, as well as numerous community centres and private health clubs. Dr. Gryfe is the author of Always Beginning–a beginner’s guide to T’ai Chi.
