Moez Rajwani
Dr. Moez Rajwani was born in Tanzania, graduated from CMCC in 1994 and has certification in Occupational Health. He is has been on faculty as a lecturer in the Department of Clinical Sciences since 1995. He has lectures in many different academic and professional settings over the last 20 years.
Professionally he is the Vice President of Clinical Services at NYRC where he manages and works with a multidisciplinary team of medical consultants overseeing complex independent medical evaluations. . He is also the Health Policy Officer for the Ontario Chiropractic Association and he maintains a private practice in Toronto.
He has extensive volunteer experience in the Health Care Sector. He presently serves as the Co-Chair of the Coalition of Health Professional Associations in Auto Insurance Services in Ontario. He is the Past President of the Canadian Society of Chiropractic Evaluators and was previously a board member of Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services which provides health care services to marginalized members of the community including refugees in the Greater Toronto Area. He presently sits as Board Member at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto and has recently been appointed on Health Services Provider Stakeholder Advisory Committee for the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) in Ontario.
Outside of the health sector he has served as the Vice President of the Aga Khan Council for Canada and Chairman of the Ismaili Centre Management Board from 2012-2015. He has served as an Allocations Chair for Children and Youth Services for United Way of Greater Toronto. He presently sits as a member of the Aga Khan University Resource Development of Committee for Canada.
For his volunteer commitments he is a recipient of the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Volunteer Award, the community service award from the Ontario Chiropractic Association and was awarded by the Ministry of Citizenship for 25 years of service to the community.
