William Meeker

Dr. Meeker is past president of the West Campus of Palmer College of Chiropractic, in San Jose, California. Active now on many non-profit boards, he is the Chair of the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine; a board member of the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress; and a member of the Field Advisory Board of the Cochrane Collaboration for Complementary Medicine at the University of Maryland.

He is also the Vice-Chair of the Association of Chiropractic Colleges and is a founding board member of the RAND Center for Collaborative Research in Complementary and Integrative Health. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers, books, and book chapters, and is on the editorial boards of The Spine Journal, the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, Explore, and The International Journal of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. He was formerly a member of the National Advisory Council of the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine at NIH, and the Governing Council of the American Public Health Association.
