The Moca project is officially launched!

In November 2014, Patricia Tavares, Stefan Eberspaecher, and Geoff Outerbridge traveled to Moca, Dominican Republic to start developing the Moca project on the ground.  With the help of many local volunteers and Dr. Ramon Anulfo Lopez, the project moved forward smoothly.

Patricia Tavares has been involved in the yearly outreach trips from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College to Moca and was instrumental in the development of the WSC project in Moca.  She will continue to be involved in the project as a manager with regular trips to Moca to help out.

Stefan Eberspaecher is the Clinic Supervisor for the Moca clinic and has generously offered to run the clinic for a year.  With a wealth of experience and clinical knowledge, he is perfect for the position and the clinic is now fully booked well in advance.

With the clinic up and running smoothly, Scott Haldeman arrived at the beginning of March 2015 to officially open the clinic with the mayor of Moca, the president of the Patronato Cibao de Rehabilitation, local doctors, and members of the Ministry of Health.

We would like to thank all our supporters and partners in Moca for their help in making the launch of this project as easy and seamless as possible.
