The WSC model for spine care has been recognized by the World Health Organization as a promising practice by the WHO Integrated, People-Centred Health Care Services initiative in 2016.

Geoff Outerbridge

Geoff Outerbridge received a B.Sc. in Human Kinetics and an M.Sc. in neuroscience from the University of Guelph. He attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and owned a successful multidisciplinary health clinic in Ottawa that integrated chiropractic, massage therapy, acupuncture, naturopathy, rehabilitation, and family medicine.

In 2011, he sold his practice to volunteer with World Spine Care. He moved his family to Botswana and established WSC’s flagship clinics in Mahalapye and Shoshong. He returned from Botswana in 2013 and continued to serve as World Spine Care Director of Clinics until September 2019. He now sits on the board of directors.
