World Spine Care Welcomes Dr. Anisha Gulati (PT); Assistant Professor, MGM School of Physiotherapy
Meet Dr. Anisha Gulati, one of the Assistant Professors at Mahatma Gandhi University School of Physiotherapy. Dr. Gulati took over the position of Clinical Supervisor of the World Spine Care Clinic from Dr. Pradnya Girdhar in October 2019.
About her new role at World Spine Care, Anisha says; “It has been a privilege to learn under the expert team of World Spine Care for the last two years during my master's program.”
When asked about why Dr. Gulati chose to specialize in spine care she focused on the needs of the community and said; “I selected this profession and specifically, spine care, as it is more prevalent and very frequently it is not properly diagnosed and is undertreated.”
World Spine Care Europe’s President, Adam Wilkey welcomed Dr. Gulati on behalf of the organization; “We are pleased to welcome Dr. Gulati to the World Spine Care Clinic at MGM, and we are looking forward to continuing to provide the essential services that help World Spine Care to meet its mission to improve lives in underserved communities through sustainable, integrated, evidence-based, spine care.”
MGM's collaboration with World Spine Care began in2016, and since that time, the World Spine Care Clinic has served over 12,000patients.
“This has been a wonderful experience for me as a Masters student”, said Dr. Gulati. “The World Spine Care team has helped me understand the importance of a multidisciplinary approach and the need for clear, concise documentation. As a practicing physiotherapist, I feel very privileged to have this experience. My greatest achievement is helping my patients to attain their goals.”
