Here's to 10+ Years of Bringing Quality Spine Care to the People Who Need it Most

It’s been 10 years since the first World Spine Care clinic opened at the Mahalapye District Hospital in Botswana. Since then, we have opened 6 clinics in 4 countries: Botswana, the Dominican Republic, Ghana, and India.

Since 2011, more than 60 volunteers have volunteered to provide care in underserved communities–for 6 weeks and up to years at a time. Through the World Spine Care clinics, more than 50,000 treatments have been provided to patients around the world.

To commemorate the occasion, we asked volunteers and board members to share all that we’ve accomplished and why we still believe that everyone deserves access to quality, evidence-based spine care.

We have been fortunate to provide care to many deserving patients.

A story that is about so much more than back pain. 

A story about family, community, government, a nation… 

A story about a world overcoming the burden of disability from spinal pain.
