A New Direction for Fundraising in 2022

World Spine Care welcomes two new chairs for the fundraising committees in Canada and the United States.

World Spine Care Canada board member, Dr. Vince Sinclair, will chair the fundraising committee in Canada.

Dr. Vince Sinclair, a member of the board of directors for World Spine Care Canada, will chair the fundraising committee in Canada. Dr. Sinclair brings his previous experience as chair of the Board of Governors for the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. While there, he led a capital campaign of $20 million to build the new campus. Dr. Sinclair has over 40 years of experience as a chiropractor in Mississauga, Ontario, where promoting spinal health has been at the core of his practice.

“I have been impressed with World Spine Care’s mission and accomplishments and hope we can broaden our scope and impact by encouraging more people to donate to this important cause,” said Dr. Sinclair.

In the US, Dr. Nathan Cashion will chair the fundraising committee. He also continues as the Director of Communications, a role he has held for the past four years.

World Spine Care communications director, Dr. Nathan Cashion, will chair the fundraising committee for World Spine Care US.

“I’ve learned a lot from working with (previous Executive Director and fundraising lead) Stefanie Ince. I hope to learn from Dr. Sinclair's wealth of experience,” Dr. Cashion said. “We can always do more to raise awareness of World Spine Care's work to reduce the impact of low back and neck pain.”

World Spine Care CEO, Dr. Jean Moss, is optimistic about the new fundraising chairs. “World Spine Care is very fortunate to have such talented people involved in fundraising,” she said. “I am happy to report that they have already shown results with an increase in funds raised in both the United States and Canada in 2021.”

Last October, Dr. Sinclair and Dr. Cashion assumed their roles just as World Spine Care launched the 2021 Helping Hands campaign. The campaign was a huge success—donations surpassed the goal of $15,000 in Canada while raising over $6,000 in the US. The fundraising chairs each take on the part of the responsibilities previously carried out by Stefanie Ince. She has left World Spine Care to pursue a career consulting in leadership coaching.
