The SPINE20 Scientific Taskforce has appointed Dr. André Bussières co-chair of the Implementation domain. The aim of the Scientific Taskforce (SciTF) is to develop the scientific program for the SPINE20 annual meeting, which is held prior to the G20 summit.

SPINE20 is an advocacy group founded in 2019 by EUROSPINE, German Spine Society, North American Spine, and Saudi Spine Society to improve spine care on a global level by recommending policies in the G20 countries that help them alleviate the burden of spine disease through various means including stimulating better spine health, advance spine research, enhancing spine innovation pathways and improving spine care and treatments. World Spine Care is a participating society of SPINE20.

This year, the G20 meeting will take place in India under the theme “One Earth · One Family · One Future.” Accordingly, SPINE20 has elected to focus its symposium and advocacy activities under the theme “One Earth, One Family, One Future WITHOUT SPINE DISABILITY.”
