Join us in celebrating World Spine Day!

October 16th marks World Spine Day, an annual event organized and coordinated by the World Federation of Chiropractic. World Spine Day is recognized as the largest public health initiative dedicated to raising awareness about the global burden of spinal pain and disability.

As an organizational supporter, World Spine Care shares the aim to empower people of all ages and nations to adopt evidence-based strategies for maintaining spinal health.

This year's slogan is “Support Your Spine.”

World Spine Day brings together individuals from various backgrounds, including health professionals, exercise and rehabilitation experts, public health advocates, schoolchildren, governments, and the wider public. This celebration extends across all continents and emphasizes the universal significance of spinal health.

Our volunteers in Botswana plan to celebrate World Spine Day by hosting a community activity and yoga class at the new clinic in Mahalapye.

World Spine Care volunteers host a hike & yoga class to encourage physical activity in the community of Gaborone, Botswana.

The World Spine Day Toolkit suggests organizing other spine health activities based on your level of expertise and comfort. A few examples include:

  • Fitness challenges

  • Posture challenges

  • Health and spinal screenings

We invite you to join us and get involved in World Spine Day 2024's “Support Your Spine” campaign!
