This Mother’s Day, We Honor Women Overcoming Low Back Pain

Spine problems are the leading cause of disability around the world. Their effects are even more common in women, the elderly, and people in low-income populations.

Often, these women are mothers who already have to care for their young children while working in the fields. When they experience back pain, the work becomes even more challenging.

With access to quality spine care, these women don't have to suffer or experience disability. They can be reassured when their condition is not severe. They can receive education on how to best care for themselves while also tending to their children. They can be empowered to continue working and earning a living for themselves and their families. Healthcare providers can guide them to additional care when needed. And they can return to their work and their families sooner.

We honor all mothers–particularly those who put their children and families first despite experiencing pain or discomfort from back problems.

Help World Spine Care provide treatment for mothers experiencing back and neck pain by making a donation.
