The Spine Ride 2025 – Happy 10th Anniversary!
The European Spine Ride is an annual charity event open to all. This year marks the 10th anniversary of our riding exploits, and what a treat we have in store. Our wheels are planted firmly in the heart of France as we pedal south from Paris to the river and make our way along the Loire Valley to the Atlantic Coast, approximately 600 km.

This year, the peloton will cycle approximately 420 miles over 5 days, averaging about 84 miles (135km) per day. The ride will take place 14-19 June, 2024, starting in Charleroi, Belgium and finishing in Zurich, Switzerland.

European Spine Ride 2023 Recap
Every year we seem to ride the wine regions of Europe. This year was no different. Our route was to roughly follow the Camino Trail, or St James’ Way, a very popular pilgrimage route. Our starting point was Logrono in the heart of the Rioja wine district. The roof of our hostel leaked and I assure that someone was conducting the ‘snorechestra’ in our dorm, sleep was patchy. But undetered we were up and ready to roll at the appointed time.
