Spine Ride 2024: The Pentatour – Five days, five countries.
Each year, World Spine Care Europe holds a fundraising event involving a multi-day cycling trek across Europe. This year, the peloton will cycle approximately 420 miles over 5 days, averaging about 84 miles (135km) per day. The ride will take place 14-19 June, 2024, starting in Charleroi, Belgium and finishing in Zurich, Switzerland.
European Spine Ride 2023 Recap
Every year we seem to ride the wine regions of Europe. This year was no different. Our route was to roughly follow the Camino Trail, or St James’ Way, a very popular pilgrimage route. Our starting point was Logrono in the heart of the Rioja wine district. The roof of our hostel leaked and I assure that someone was conducting the ‘snorechestra’ in our dorm, sleep was patchy. But undetered we were up and ready to roll at the appointed time.

In just one month, 13 amateur cyclists and two support drivers from Spain, Germany and England will be meeting up in Munich on Monday 8th July to commence the 560km (348 miles) ride to Vienna. All riders are self-funding their rides and are aiming to raise funds in support of World Spine Care Europe!
European Spine Ride 2018
Another brilliant cycle trip! For once the weather gods were in our favour, except for the last morning, but otherwise we didn’t start in the rain, get snowed on, or blown off course. And talking of going off course – that didn’t happen this year either.
