As another year draws to a close, the World Spine Care Board of Directors wishes to thank all of our partners, donors, supporters and volunteers for your incredible support over this past year. Here are just a few things that World Spine Care has accomplished this year.

Dr. Stephen Laski, the current Clinical Coordinator for World Spine Care in Botswana, was recently invited to provide an online masterclass for the Primary Spine Provider Network.
World Spine Care: Continuing to Provide Evidence-based Care In Under Served Communities
It is always the stark juxtapositions that you are undeniably faced with in India that leave a lasting impression on me. Extravagant malls; remote rural populations without access to regular electricity. Smart businessmen travelling by train; sari-clad women carrying baskets of rice overhead walking for miles. Luxury hotels; woven mats to sleep on the floor. A bustling business district; those who cannot afford a day off work to seek medical advice.

Another brilliant cycle trip! For once the weather gods were in our favour, except for the last morning, but otherwise we didn’t start in the rain, get snowed on, or blown off course. And talking of going off course – that didn’t happen this year either.

The Third World Spine Care Botswana Spine Care Conference
On May 7 and May 8, 2018 World Spine Care, in cooperation with the Botswana Ministry of Health organized the Third World Spine Care Conference at the Gaborone International Convention Center in Botswana. It is reported to have been the largest health care or medical conference to be held in the country of Botswana and demonstrates the impact that the World Spine Care program has had in this country.
